School Closure

Today it was announced that all public schools are closed until April 6th.  This closure is very clear that it includes extra-curricular activities.  Let me first say the number one concern of mine and all our coaches is each players safety!  Our superintendent, Dr. Simeroth, has made it clear that no facility is to be used during this closure.  That includes all buildings and fields.  So no coach will be doing any activity with any athlete during this mandated closure.

Several athletes have asked about workouts to do while on this break.  Please understand that we are making nothing mandatory, we have no expectations for any player to attend a community gym to get a workout in.   I contacted Performance Course and they sent me a couple different workouts each player can do if they have weights at home or if they have nothing.  One workout has links to videos in case your son doesnt know the lift thats on the workout.  The other workout is more of a body weight type workout that no weights are needed.

We are currently taking orders for brick pavers. Please contact Gary Parks if you would like to order:  parksgd@oge.com
